The first great upset of the tournament has kicked in, as mTw cash in a 16-14 loss against Coldfrag. The Danes was put up against Coldfrag in their second match of the group-stage. The Swedes came directly from a tough win against Skillz of Borås, while mTw had just defeated PlayMore. Coldfrag got to start on the stronger CT side, taking home a 13-2 halftime score against the WCG 2009 bronze-medalists. The Danes had a long way back into the match, but it started good with the pistol-round being brought home. Rounds ticked in for mTw, but the Swedes suddenly took a crucial round, bringing their round-wins to a total of fourteen. It should come down the wire, the thirtieth round of the match to decide the winner. A clutch attack on the B bombsite by Coldfrag was not stopped by mTw and Martin "trace" Bang was unable to win a 1vs2. The Swedes shocked mTw by winning it and the sound-wave of screams quickly lighted up the noise level in the hall with quite a few dB.
