Besiktas have won DreamHack Showdown after defeating CLG Red 2-1 in the grand final, punching their ticket to DreamHack Open Rotterdam.

The $100,000 female event taking place in Valencia, Spain kicked off with two groups of four teams, with the top two sides advancing to the single-elimination playoffs.

In the semis, Besiktas moved past Dignitas fe with a 2-0 victory while CLG Red beat Demise fe with the same scoreline to qualify for the grand final.

The grand final commenced on Vertigo, CLG Red's map pick, where Besiktas won 16-10. CLG Red returned the favor on Mirage, taking it 16-5.

Inferno was the decider and the T-sided Besiktas secured 11 rounds on the T-side. The European team closed out the map with ease thanks to their early lead, winning it 16-9. With the 2-1 series victory, Besiktas have earned $50,000 in cash prizes and a spot at DreamHack Open Rotterdam.
